Russell and I spent the past week with my Mom while Ben was busy with various school responsibilities. It worked out great because we got to see Janet and Jacob, celebrate Mom's birthday, be with Mom while Dad was at work, and take care of Mom after her treatment. All in all it was a pretty darn tootin' good week. Russell always loves visiting Grandma and Grandpa's because he knows there are lots of yummy treats, lots of fun things to explore, and lots showing off to do. It also seems that Russell always learns some new trick to keep Ben and I on our feet.

| Russell mastered going up the stairs. He enjoyed having some other little people around to play with, too, but I don't think he really liked the hugs from Sadie. |

| Russell really likes Aunt Janet and liked Uncle Jacob ok. Russell may need to cut the horizontal stripes out of his wardrobe, though. He looks massive compared to both Janet and Jacob. |

| Russell learned how to play Starfall's ABC game on Grandma's ipad. We might need one of our own now. |

| To make Russell happy on the last little bit of the trip home, Ben gave him an apple core that Ben had finished eating. |
