Then something happened.
About a month and a half ago, she started waking every 3-4, and slowly she worked herself down to last night waking every 2 stinkin' hours!
Russell is the only one who is getting good sleep at night. He gets such good sleep that he wakes up nice and early every morning. If only he could sleep a little longer, so I could sleep a little longer in the morning, too.
I know we are a little behind, but here are Halloween pictures. I made Russell a Thomas the Tank Engine costume. Meghan was a flower.
| Our only Halloween day picture. Russell had just had a melt down, Meghan is doing what she does best, and our house is a mess. |

This girl turned 4 months old on Saturday. Her new favorite tricks are playing with her feet, sucking her first two fingers (especially when she is tired, though it doesn't help her sleep), and squirming her way around the floor to get Russell's toys her leaves on the floor. Lots of people have been saying that she looks like her mommy lately :) We broke out this toy for her to play with and she loves it. Russell loves it, too, and plays with any chance he gets. She is always moving.

That is a picture for the books, Ben doesn't look too happy either.
But it seems Russell liked his train.
My only suggestion would be teething. Brooke has been ridiculously whiny ALL THE TIME and it peaked a few nights ago when she screamed bloody murder the entire night unless I held her, so we slept on the couch. Then I finally noticed that she is cutting four, maybe five teeth right now. One broke through and she is already getting happier. Maybe Meghan's little tooths are hurting.
At the same time, anytime Brooke was being a poop, people (doctor included) would tell me she was teething. Liars!
My boys always are fussy when they are teething and if it is teething the best thing I have found it to give them otter pops. My sister told me to do this with Andrew. I break it up by biting the plastic area so that he doesn't get big chunks. The cold will numb their gums and because it is sweet they will keep eating it.
Another thing you might want to check is ear infections. My boys never run a temperature like they should with ear infections, they just start not sleeping as much. Their ears hurt worse when they lay down, so they would sleep if sitting up but not laying down. If she is sleeping good in the swing or when you are holding her, I would have her ears checked at the doctor.

You might want to start feeding her solid foods, maybe she is just really hungry, especially at night. Sometimes a little cereal before nighttime bedtime helped a few of my kids sleep a little better. (Maybe she inherited Ben's always being hungry!)
